Korea's PCCC (Personal Customs Clearance Code), Explained

The PCCC is a personal ID code used by Korean customs — you only need it if your order ships to South Korea. Deliveries to other countries don't use it. Here's what it is, how recipients in Korea get one, and when to enter it on Yosimarket.

1. What is a PCCC?

A 13-character code starting with 'P' that Korean customs uses to identify the recipient instead of a national ID number. It's issued once and reused for all future imports.

It must belong to the actual recipient — using a family member's code causes mismatches and delays at customs.

2. How to get one (free, ~3 minutes)

3. When to enter it on Yosimarket

There's a field at checkout, but it's optional. You can add it later from My Page on your order card.

It becomes mandatory at customs clearance — if your package reaches Korea without it, clearance stalls. We recommend adding it soon after ordering.
