The prototype's creation and production direction is done by Hiroyuki Komatsubara. It was sculpting keeping in mind there is a human body underneath the "suit" so each joint is made to match the movement of a person's as much as possible giving it a range close to a human's. Each part is made using diecast to create a thick look while the eye-catching chest part using clear materials. It comes with a base that lets you even recreate flying poses too!
